Re: How do I delay a channel very, very slightly

I also made this vid for myself: While you're playing, make a video of what you did, exactly. Arkhan keeps treatening to do it, but maybe if you show people how easy it is to go from MIDI to MML, more folks will give it a try :) Good idea. Arkhan wrote:It should default, but those /* */ comment things should come out. They aren't MML standard. It's something 3MLE does, so I'd rip those out for starts. :D

Re: How do I delay a channel very, very slightly

I was just trying to get any echo really, although I am hearing the ending to PC Genjin and some Dungeon Explorer in my head.

I did some very basic tests with just a range of notes and that's making it easier to understand. I also made this vid for myself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrS8JejvKK8

Re: How do I delay a channel very, very slightly

Now I assumed that a lower rest numer was a quicker rest, apperently I was wrong, as it now is not about a second out!

I'm stiull struggling to find a good combination of sound and envelope type to get a nice echo. If anyone manages it, post the values please!

How do I delay a channel very, very slightly

I'm trying to get a cool echo effect by duplicating a channel, then delaying one a fraction of a second. Putting a rest in is too long, is there another way to do this?

Re: Troubleshoot this MML!

I've just worked it out.

You mentioned the panning volume in the other post. I assumed if you left it out it would defalt to the highest value. Seems I was wrong!
